Pharmacology professor should stick to pharmacology.
A) it's a Left Ventricular ASSIST Device, not replace device. they do have a heart beat, but the heart is not strong enough to sustain them on its own.
B) people without a decent blood pressure are dead people, LVAD or not. The whole damn point of an LVAD is to generate enough blood pressure to maintain life.
